Maddie is a 61/2-year-old Beagle who loves Flyball. Her "daddy" Greg got her started in the sport as a means to spend more quality time with his pet. She is protective of her home and family and not much goes on around her house without her vocal acknowledgement. She has been involved with the sport for 4 years and has a very competitive spirit. Maddie has raced in California, Nevada and Arizona, and has performed numerous demos, including pre-game and half time shows for the Harlem Globe Trotters, and for the San Francisco 49ers, and Oakland Raider fans to name a few. She is the first Beagle to get the FM and FMX awards, and is currently the #1 ranked Beagle in NAFA (North American Flyball Association). When she started, she had no interest in tennis balls but loved to "fly" over the jumps. A short time later, she discovered the other half of what flyball is all about and the rest is history. For a breed that is suppose to not be good at flyball, Maddie has excelled.

Maddie, All American Racers senior canine athlete, is 13 years old and although in semi-retirement, is still racing.  Racing mainly in Veteran's divisions, Maddie occasionally fills in on multi breed line-ups.  Having been the number one Beagle in NAFA for almost 4 years, Maddie now has over 22000 points and is currently NAFA's number 5 Beagle.  She still loves to race but at times, this clown likes to see if she can possibly turn any more of her Daddy's hair gray with her clowning around in the ring.  Over the past several years, she has made giving her Daddy gray hair a game within a game.  Depending on the temperature and surface, she runs in the low 6s to low 7 second range and has an awesome turn on the box!
